On first sight there is no indication that Dalbeattie is a mine of hidden artistic talent, but  dip into the town and you will come up with a range of art and craft activities to parallel anywhere else.

As well as painting as art, there are several other artistic groups in and around the town, all of whom you will find on the 'Local Groups' section. You might want to try your hand at creating a crook, or you may be 'bloomin' good at Floral art, for example. Go on, give it a try! 

The Dalbeattie Art Group hold an Annual Exhibition in the Town Hall each year. Keep an eye on their webpage for details.
